Before the summer of 2005, no one in Athenry had heard of Simanjiro, a most remote, underdeveloped region of northern Tanzania. this book chronicles the story of the Athenry Simanjiro Partnership from the personal “lived experiences” of many people. Athenry Parishioners are now providing things we take for granted – clean water, medical facilities and education – for the people of Simanjiro.
