The Athenry Journal is published as a service to our parish and its theme is Community” Awareness and development.

Any material published – we hope to have lots of news, views, letters, articles, poetry, song, interviews and stories – will be published subject to the law of the land and editorial judgment. The views and opinions expressed in the articles are those of the contributors and are not necessarily those of the Editorial Board.

We hope to issue the journal approximately every two three months. We invite constructive criticism and need, interested volunteers to help in all aspects of its publication.

Deadline for Autumn edition September 30th. We apologise for not publishing all the articles received due to lack of space but they will be published in the next issue, please God.
