The organisers acknowledged and much appreciate the efforts of their supporters; sponsors; Gardaí, the Civil Defence and the many helpers who contributed in so many different ways to the success of the day.

A special thank you to the following schools who supported the cycle: Athenry Boys N.S., Ballymana N.S., Coldwood N.S., Craughwell N.S. and Killeeneen N.S. Geraldine Sutton had the highest individual sponsorship. The main sponsors were Cawley’s Pub, Christy Moran and Cyril Jennings.
