Des Neylon, All Ireland Medal Winner

Congratulations to Des Neylon on achieving 2nd place in the senior category of the Traditional Ballad singing at this year’s Fleadh Cheoil in Listowel. Des Neylon, M. A. was recently conferred with an Honours Diploma in Remedial Education in N. U. I. G.

He is based in Newcastle National School, Athenry and his learning support structure of local schools is regarded by the Department of Education and Science as a model for other school to copy.
