The World Chess Championship is taking place in Mexico this month.

Vladimer Kramnick, the world champion, is the joint leader after four rounds.

The position on left is an example of his play when he was just thirteen years old. He wants to eliminate the black queen which is causing him some bother. The way he does it shows his great talent for the game at an early age.

He played Rook takes pawn at G7, check. Black played King takes Rook. Kramnik then played Bishop takes pawn at H6, check. Black played Knight takes Bishop at H6 and then Kramnik played Queen takes Queen.
