No Alcohol Teenbeat, April 2006

During the Easter break from school, on Friday 21th  April, there will be a supervised no-alcohol live gig in The Gate Lodge, halfway between Athenry and Loughrea.

Running from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., music will be provided by two young bands, Halo from Woodford and The Deans from Athenry. Buses are running from Portumna, Woodford, Loughrea, Galway, Oranmore and Athenry.

Admission to the gig is only €5:00 with the bus-fare extra.

The Athenry bus will leave from The Square at 7:45 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with Halo opening the music at 8:30 p.m. The Deans will take to the stage at 10:00 p.m. Both bands have qualified for the national finals of Blastbeat Battle of the Bands in the Cork Opera House on 14th May.
